My experience in visual storytelling dates back to a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Arts and a long-standing multidisciplinary career as a designer and illustrator.
But to put it simply, I’ve been drawing and painting my whole life. It instantly calms my (sometimes) busy mind.
A continuous line in earthy tones symbolizes my flow of thoughts. At times it blurs and clarity seems to fade, yet the line always finds its way back into focus. The work reflects my mental fog, resilience, and the quiet trust that clarity will return.

This painting features warm, ochre tones in multiple semi-transparent layers, with a single white accent line running slightly off-center. The painting captures a feeling of loneliness that I sometimes experienced after the birth of my children: warmly surrounded, yet alone in moments of inner emptiness.

After 15 years of chasing deadlines as an illustrator and graphic designer, my inner compass is screaming louder than ever to do something radically different.
In my latest project, Waldhaus, I focus primarily on the analog and artisanal. Away from screens and deadlines, back to the here and now. Creating with my hands, fully experiencing my senses. Working with tangible materials feels healing. It slows me down, deepens my focus, and brings me closer to my authentic self. This results in abstract art and curated content that resonates and tells personal stories.
Today I am on an artistic journey; a quest for simplicity and quality that is still very much in flux. A curated life on the sidelines of the rat race. Minimalism serves as a guide and, in combination with art, proves to be a powerful tool for my mental well-being.

All my paintings are handmade and rooted in emotion. I work on homemade canvases made of raw cotton, using simple shapes and subtle colors that create space for feeling, silence, and meaning. Each work carries a personal story and invites (self)reflection and connection.
What I appreciate most about handmade art are the perfect imperfections. Small paint splatters and subtle textures are characteristics that contribute to the unique character of each work. For me, painting is a nostalgic way to return to the essence, to my childhood. A gentle, healing journey to balance and the feeling of coming home to yourself.

I have created accessible art sessions, in which you are invited to slow down and take a break from hectic life. They create space for peace, presence and creativity, without pressure or expectations, to reconnect with your intuition.
Take a moment for yourself and discover the calming power of creativity.
