May 15: Open Studio

  • Citadel Diest Colonel Blondee Avenue Diest, Flanders, 3290 Belgium (map)

OPEN STUDIO • your chance to create in peace

You feel the urge to paint or create something, but you don’t have the space to do so, or you don’t want to invest in expensive art supplies right away.
I’m delighted to open the doors of my art studio so you can get started on your own work.
Imagine the scent of fresh paint, a serene atmosphere, and soft music in a calming setting. Just being present, without any expectations.

You bring your own idea or project and work at your own pace. I’ll be there, but I won’t be providing any guidance.
Paint, brushes, paper, and drawing supplies will be provided.

The Open Atelier intentionally limits the number of participants to ensure a peaceful atmosphere.
Please register in advance to guarantee your spot.

Single session € 39 • 5-session pass € 150

2.5-hour workshop
Paint and drawing supplies included
A peaceful, creative setting
Coffee and tea

_______________________ OPTIONAL: Have the canvas stretched

You’re welcome to bring your own supplies (and canvas), or you can opt to have me prepare a canvas for you.
I always stretch my own canvases—made from raw cotton—and prime them with transparent gesso. The canvas is off-white with visible speckles, which I personally think is absolutely beautiful.

30×40 cm • €15
60×80 cm • €25

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • All you need is your project and your desire to create. Paint, brushes, paper, and drawing supplies are all ready to go. Would you like to work on canvas? You can order one in advance, and I’ll prepare it for you with great care!

  • Not in the traditional sense. I’ll be there, of course, but you’ll be working independently on your own project. It’s not a workshop; I’m simply providing the space for you to come and create something for yourself. You’re welcome to use my materials and studio.

  • No. Whether you’ve been painting for years or are just starting to draw, everyone is welcome. The only thing that matters is that you want to create something and are willing to work independently. I’ll be there to help you get started, but this isn’t a guided workshop. Be sure to keep an eye on the workshops page.

  • One year from the date of purchase. This way, you can come at your own pace, without any pressure.

  • You can reschedule your registration free of charge up to 48 hours before the session. If you have a session pass, your session will simply be saved for a later date.
