June 14: “Our Little Spot” Duo Workshop

  • Citadel Diest Colonel Blondee Avenue Diest, Flanders, 3290 Belgium (map)

A parent-child painting workshop.

A worthwhile activity to enjoy together, but it may require a little preparation.

There’s a place you both know. Maybe it’s the garden, a cozy corner in your home, or the path through the woods you always take. A place where you feel connected in a special way. A place where time stands still for a moment. In this workshop, you’ll bring that place to life together on a canvas. Not as a photograph, but as a feeling.
Parent and child work on the same canvas, each with their own perspective. Two styles that blend together into something unique that belongs to both of you.

"The best part of working together isn't the result; it's the conversation and the connection that develop as you work."

€115 / pair

Hand-stretched canvas, 60×80 cm
All materials included
2.5-hour guided workshop
Coffee, tea, and refreshments included

You’ll go home with a painting, a fond memory, and the story of how it came to be.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • No, not at all. This workshop requires no prior experience—just a willingness to try something new and to enjoy a pleasant, relaxing moment together. I’ll guide you step by step, without pushing you toward a specific outcome. What emerges will truly be something personal to both of you.

  • Nothing, except your story and your desire to create something together. Think ahead of time about a place you both know—that will be the starting point for the workshop. All the materials, aprons, and paint will be ready and waiting.

  • Children aged 8 and older can stay focused long enough to truly experience the process. If you have any doubts or think your child might be too young—even if they’re under 8—feel free to send me a message, and we’ll see if it’s a good fit.

  • You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 7 days before the workshop. After that, 50% of the fee will be charged, as I will have already begun preparations.
