Come and disconnect from daily ratrace in this creative "slow art" workshop.

Slow art focuses on the process of creation itself, rather than on the end result. It is precisely this conscious creation that brings about a deeper sense of relaxation and peace of mind.

You will be gently introduced to a number of simple basic techniques for creating abstract art. After a short moment of tuning in, you will get to work with various materials (crayons, paint, pencils) to experience the calming power of creativity and minimalism and reconnect with your intuition.

No specific prior knowledge or drawing talent is required; anyone with an interest in "slowing down" and "art" is welcome.

This workshop is part of the Citadel Bruist event, the open house day at Citadel Diest.

A part of this proceeds will be donated to the CITADEL-community.
